The Confederate cabinet is completed: State-Robert Toombs; War-Leroy P. Walker; Navy-Stephen R. Mallory; Treasury-Christopher G. memminger; Attorney General-Judah P. Benjamin; Postmaster General-John H. Reagan. The Confederacy calls for 100,000 volunteers.
Missouri Convention calls for a Convention of the Southern States which have not seceded, to meet at Nashville, Tennessee, April 15th., providing for such amendments to the Constitution of the United States as shall secure to all the States equal rights in the Union, declaring strongly against secession.
