Virginia Legislature meets.
U. S. Arsenal and Fort Marion, St. Augustine, Florida, seized by Florida state troops. The U. S. Arsenal at Chattahoochee, Florida, is also seized, containing 500,000 rounds of musket cartridges, 300,000 rifle cartridges, and 50,000 pounds of gunpowder, but no arms.
